DoubleClick Search, a subsidiary company of Google, has announced that the feed management and optimization capabilities of Channel Intelligence would now get integrated with DoubleClick Search Commerce Suite. Performics has been chosen to provide the integration of DoubleClick Search Commerce Suite with Channel Intelligence. Performics would be launching a pilot integration project with a major retail client. Eric Papczun, President of U.S. Operations of Performics, remarked that his
company feels very proud to take up the integration work that would give an amazing search experience for the retail client.
Eric also feels that the integrated solution would provide a clear competitive edge in the market place. Analysts believe that the integration of Channel Intelligence with DoubleClick Search would now make Googlea��s already existing
product Google Merchant Center redundant. Analysts believe that Google is slowly moving away from its under utilized Google Merchant Center platform. Shopping campaigns for product listing ads would now allow the advertiser to access the feed information in AdWords. Advertisers need not get into the Merchant Center for getting the feed. Analysts believe that the integration of Channel Intelligence with Googlea��s DoubleClick would reap much more benefits than the benefits accrued usually by integrating two companies.
